How we handle your information

Who collects it. Azhar Australia, a program of the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA).

Why we collect it. To enrol your child, create their school Google account, place them in the right class, mark attendance, and contact you about their classes. Emergency and medical details are collected so staff can act if your child is unwell or injured during class.

Who we share it with. Google, as the provider of the school's email and Google Classroom accounts. Your child's teacher and Azhar Australia administration staff. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

If you don't provide it. We can't enrol your child without the required fields. Medical details are optional, but without them staff may not be able to respond appropriately in an emergency.

Access and correction. You can ask to see the information we hold about your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting Azhar Australia administration.

Storage. Your information is stored in the school's Google Workspace account and is kept only as long as needed for your child's enrolment and the school's record-keeping obligations.
